Call for Masterclasses at PyCon DE 2027

What are Masterclasses?

PyCon DE Masterclasses are hands-on, full-day workshops led by experienced trainers. Participants buy a separate ticket for each Masterclass and spend the day diving deep into one topic together with an expert.

How do I submit a proposal?

Please fill in the form The form asks you to describe and structure your training in some detail. We believe that doing this early leads to a better training and a better experience for our community.

What to bear in mind

We believe that an excellent way to provide a high-quality experience — and to have fun doing so — is to team up with another trainer. Give it a thought. We expect Masterclasses to provide direct value to participants, so we discourage topics that mainly advertise a product.

If you are interested in running a sponsored Masterclass, please contact sponsoring.

We expect to publish the first wave of Masterclasses end of October 2026.

How are proposals selected?

Masterclasses are handpicked by a committee. We pay attention to the trainers' expertise and training methodology, and we do our best to select a balanced mix of interesting topics. There is no deadline, we will select suitable Masterclasses as they fly in.
